General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

Thanks.
Auntie here is a link to some info on the lake.
http://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/me/Camping.cfm
It is one of two federal lakes in this county. I'm partial to this one. Maybe because I worked for the Corp during summer break.
The fishing is like fishing is, if I tell you it is great you won't even catch cold. It is pretty good though. Some Walleye, Channel Cat and Black Bass. Some of everything else I would guess.
There are six campgrounds. One is the outlet area, it wraps around a small lake that is set aside for fishing. No gas powered boats. These are mostly or all electric and water sites with some pull throughs with sewer. This one usually fills fast.
The others are spread around the main lake. One is just gravel pads with no services. The others are mostly full services lots.

Gage I'm working on the wings, I'm not going to let a little detail like that slow me down. I'm think ply painted the blue of the stripe then bound with U-channel aluminum.

The name will be The Night Hawk, kind of a misnomer considering how early we fall asleep.

Thanks again everyone.

Later

I still haven't got that propane bracket mounted yet. I just get to involved with other peoples trailers. Looks like it's going to be an 'after vacation' project. :?

Gage
I won't give you grief over the tank bracket if you let me slide on the winglets.

We got a few days off and took the TTT for a run. We had intended to go to Elk City Lake in SE Kansas but the website said that the campground I wanted was under water. We went to Kanopolis Lake instead. That is about 30 SW of Salina Kansas. 3 hours and 150 miles from home. No problems at all with the trailer. The hills and the wind worked my Ranger over pretty good though. Coming home through the Flint Hills uphill against the wind I had the Missus get out a couple of times to see if we were going forward.

Here we are at the campsite. No one else was camping at that time but we still had people stop to ask questions about restoring old campers.

This is the interior nearly complete. Probably never will be 100%

This is some of the scenery around the lake and Mushroom Rock State Park near by.
