Dutch department store HEMA

Postby planovet » Sat Jun 14, 2008 11:19 am

HEMA is a Dutch department store. The first store opened on November 4, 1926, in Amsterdam. Now there are 150 stores all over the Netherlands. HEMA also has stores in Belgium, Luxemburg, and Germany.

Take a look at HEMA's product page. You can't order anything and it's in Dutch but just wait a couple of seconds and watch what happens.

This company has a sense of humor and a great computer programmer

Too bad that American department stores aren't that creative.

You would think one of the major U.S. stores would copy the design, unless they have some kind of copyright on it. An yes, their programmer
is really good, or he has too much free time on his hands. :D

Rube Goldberg would be proud!

That reminds me - I need to get a new broodrooster.
