What a fantastic camping kitchen! While being truly awesome and inspiring, wouldn't that tremendously increase the weight on the tongue? (I can hardly wait to see what Andrew has to say about it!)

If it were possible to incorporate this design on new and redesigned teardrops, people could have bigger "bedrooms" or even an indoor dining area. However, I wonder if people might forget and add too much additional weight to the freed-up space.

Another point to consider is the fact that with the teardrop, the hatch acts as a roof. This tongue design has very little shelter when open. It might be necessary to provide an additional or larger overhead canopy.

That design would work well in the back of a trailer, AS a Swing away storage unit (even kitchen)

Interesting, hummmmm it just might work. I'd have more room in the trailer for the jaccuzi

Go to left under and click on "kampeerkeukens"
Its a typical dutch product but very pricy.

When I look at these things, I don't tend to do it with the idea of buying the exact item and Bolting it on, I look at the item and start thinking of the plcaement and design....what if I use the aluminum skin for the tear over a box built for a galley like this?...how can I make it lighter?...can I use it here, or on the Tear Rear bumper?....Keep thinking outside the box and all manner of ideas will become reality......
