Hey Dave, Thanks for the pics!!! I wish I could have been there. It looks like the weather was nice and you guys had a good turnout. Looks like 'bout 15 campers/campsites.

Great pics, Dave!

I knew we were having fun, but I didn't realize how much until I saw your pics! :)

By the way, when you look at the pic of our Little Guy, notice my shoes on the rug by the door. If you listen carefully, you can just hear me snoring over the sound of the Pet Cool. :D

It was a great weekend, everyone. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for the pictures and hospitality.

My wife and I enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing a nice evening meal. Since we don't have a tear (yet), we were a little embarassed about being in the group photo, but thanks for including us.

Don't be embarassed about being in the picture. That is one of our rules, If a person is visiting and partakes in the Pot Luck they have to be in the Group shot.

We had a great weekend. The weather couldn't have been better (even with the shower Friday evening).
We enjoyed meeting the newbies and look forward to another gathering at Petit Jean next year.

I'll post my pics sometime this evening.

Dave,

Great pictures as usual and sorry we missed, but am getting ready to spend the month of July touring the West and winding up at the IRGII in California. Can't wait to see everyone at the LCGIII. Linda is already packing the decorations, so the competition is on.

Thanks for the great pictures Dave ... and thanks to everyone for the great time. Made it home about 5:00 pm today .... stayed last night at Roaring River State Park in the Southwest corner of Missouri by AR/OK/KS .... would make a great campout spot. Beautiful rivers for fishing/swimming pool. Also met a Montana Tear Drop owner!!! Had a 5-wide Little Guy. Drove through Lake Stockton State Park and Truman Lake State Park in MO and all the camp grounds were under water!!

Only other major event, Gary and I went inside to eat breakfast, and left Wendel in the front seat of the truck ... came out and he had set off the security alarm!!! Dont know how but alarms blaring and lights flashing, poor guy was scared to death.

Was so good to see everyone ... cant wait until October. Trudy

Thanks for puttin' up the pix folks. Looks like y'all had a great time as expected. Sure wish we could'a been there.

We 'aborted' our trip to the Pacific NW after the Missouri weekend & came on back home Monday, June 16th. Had planned to try to make it up to the PJ gathering but family problems & other considerations but the 'ka-bosh' on that.

Looks as tho we won't make it to IRG2.0 next month either. Maybe a few short trips here in 'The Natural State' before LCG-III in October. Will be lookin' into Julie's Red River/Texoma weekend in August but we're also gonna try to drive the Natchez Trace Parkway sometime before LCG.

Think we're mostly just gonna 'take it easy' during the hot weather. Have the Pet Cool yet to install but most places we stay don't have hook-ups & running the Honda generator ain't really th' best option except for battery charging during daylight hours. We've been surprised & pleased by the efficiency of the Fantastic Vent fan during hot, humid weather & so far it's done very well. Doesn't reduce the humidity but does produce a nice cooling (sometimes chilling :o ) air flow thru the TD with very low energy 'draw' on the battery.

We used Lenora's Hyundai Santa Fe as a TV for the Missouri trip & it performed great, maintaining 60mph even in the AR/MO Ozarks while still getting 20mpg or better. Only thing is it doesn't have as much room for 'cargo' as the P/U & some items are better carried in other than the passenger compartment ;) .

Lookin' forward to seein' all you folks at the next 'whatever/wherever' 8)
