Pre-TearUp Fish Creek Camping and Skiing

Just back from a combo campout/ski weekend. Actually it was a hike/ski/shop weekend which we extended by leaving a day early and camping at Fish Creek one night. With the Spring TearUP loaming I thought I would inspire all those who are going with a few photos.

Naturally at this time of the year you have your choice of prime sites. We chose site 103 which has a great view across Fish Creek Pond and of the mountains. A 3/4+ moon was a bonus. Black Flys were just starting. I managed just fine in shorts and a Tshirt...

The next day we headed across Vermont to New Hampshire to meet up our gang of ski and hiking friends at Tuckerman Ravine NH. Here Kate points out where some of us will ski, after having hiked up 2 1/2 hours...
