hatch window?

I was want to know what people would think about a window in the kitchen hatch? I have run it past a few and they say it is a very cool idea. It could be used as ventalation without having the hatch open and used as a sun roof when the hatch is open. I plan to use this idea in one of my pics in the design contest and was wondering about it. If it goes well I might use it in my own tear. Thanks for the feed back, bye

Why not. The only challange might be the curve of the hatch lid if you are building a "traditional" teardrop. If the hatch lid is not curved, then I would say "just do it".......

I was thinking, sisce I an building a grasshoppr/road toad, the wall between the kitchen and bedroom is taller. If I put a window in the kitchen hatch I could also put one in that wall for more ventalation in my cabin without any windows apperaing open. This may detour any burglers thinking that it is compleatly closed up. What do you think?

I guess that all depends on how far you plan on opening your rear hatch, and the weather... For example if you are on the beach and it's sunny, it looks fine...



But if you happen to be sleeping and it starts raining...



You might as well put a garden hose in your hatch window, and turn the water on!!!

Wel I dont plan on having the window open while the hatch is open or while I am gone.
