Yes we have been meaning to get over there it's just been busy trying to work on the teardrop in our spare time and keep up with everyday life. I am sure you understand. The days just go by too fast! We are looking forward to meeting you. Maybe this weekend if my husband isn't too wrapped up in working on the teardrop. He started the cabinets in the gally while I was at my workout class last night.

Alright , great looking Teardrop. And a really cool looking Great Dane. I've had many Danes over the past 25 years, Loved them all.
I'm still at the chasis stage on my camper. It will be 6'4" wide and 12' long, and probly 5' tall with a dropped floor to the front. Good luck finishing yours. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Well we have been working hard trying to get our TD ready for the lake this year. We have just put on the aluminum and are trying to put the trim on that holds the outer shell together.

We are officially stuck..........

My husband is having a hard time finding something that is flexible for the trim.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! HELP PLEASE!

Rabittses...for trim you have a couple of choices...one is to buy a "dead soft" trim from an RV supplier or from our own Grant Whipp http://www.lilbear.teardrops.net/parts.html or you can use the search feature to look up "annealing"

Also if my husband is 6ft will he be comfortable in a 5X10?
I'm a shorty so it dont matter for me I just dont want him to be squished in there ya know.

I'm 5'11" and I have a 4X8 -- about as small as TDs get, and I sleep fine.

Your teardrop is looking great. There is another option for bending alum. trim. I went the shrinker Stretcher route. It's a little more expensive to buy the tool but I figured I wouldn't build just one tear. Check out my album(page 2) for pix of the tool. It's available at Harbor Freight quite a bit cheaper. My AC installation is on page 5.
