Indiana Gatherings for 2008

Camping in the Midwest, including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin & Kentucky. Also includes Buckeye, Hoosier and BlueGrass Tearjerker chapters

Postby Nitroxjunkie71 » Thu Jun 26, 2008 4:05 pm

I think going back to pick up past trips is a great idea for those who were in attendance. Another thing I thought for those who were :? enough to attend the Winter Shiveree; would be to put the actual camping temp on those buttons just to show how
:fan: it actually was. Just a thought from someone who was not there to brave the elements (Because the "Topside Inn" was not ready) and was not able to :ilovecamp: on that :relaxing: day.

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

You are correct Kurt but we can't get to far off current affairs.

MADISON!

To continue however, I think it is cool how (and other groups may do it too) how this group can post trips for 2008, and they all run off one sticky. Nothing gets left out, nothing gets missed it just all seems to flow From one gathering to the next. For those who play a vital role :applause:

Wait a minute; Thats all of us.

Scott,

Add us to the Salamoni list Cindi & I are booked in site 220. Since Kurt stole my spot I took his (Just kidding Kurt). I know, I suggested we all camp around the circle but for some reason, perhaps proximity to the bathroom, Cindi wanted 220. In any event we'll be there with biscuits & gravy.

Jim, glad to hear you and Cindi are coming. The waffle iron is warming up as we speak.

I wonder if my (last year's) neighbors will be back. Remember the guys with all of the beagles? (Yee Haw! :?)

They came from West VA. to hunt rabbits in Indiana.

Must be darn good rabbits

Jim, we have 11 sites reserved and (so far) 16 campers. This (16) includes you and your friends.

We could possibly hold (22) if we double up on every site. Some of the big teardrop such as Scott's and Rob's might be a little tight but we'll see.

Just bring $25 per night (per camp- trailer) and we can pay the campground when we get to the gathering.

Kurt I don't have that many names listed, make sure I'm not missing anyone, and if so who?

 Got you down I'll try and get up for the biscuits & gravy this time I have a tendency to sleep through breakfast  seeing as how I get up at 4:00am every morning I take the camping weekends to sleep as long as possible.

The drive thru sites appear larger and longer If the larger units were directed there they might still be able to double up with a shorty . Just a dumb thought . 8)

Bob, they are bigger and usually used to Class A rigs, Doubling up there would still be room to spare.Image
