Shore power inlet

What does the interior side of a shore power inlet look like? Is it a female plug or just connections for wires? I ordered mine and it hasn't arrived yet but I would like to get the wiring set up for it. Thanks.

Mine has connections to attach wires to.

Here's a Hubbel 30 amp...this is the back with the cover on...

Here is the cover off...you just stick the wires in and tighten the screws...

An here is the front...male locking socket to accept a shore power cord...

I have what is basically a hole with a rubber cover on the side. There is an extension cord that sticks out the side. Sometimes I can park close enough to the pole and plug it directly in without an extension cord.

It's made by Marinco, I checked their website but couldn't find a pic. I did however find this one, it is basically the same thing. You just connect an extension cord to the pole and plug the trailer into the cord.
