Hey Keith,
I am with Thomas. Money usually is tight around my house, and the trailer will probably cost 3 grand by the time I get through with it, but by as soon as I get the walls up and the paint on, I am heading out. The time in the outdoors is priceless, and you will have memories with your family that will be with you the rest of your life. There are three state parks with an hour of us, and six with in two hours. Grab the wife and kids and GO CAMPING!

Keith messaged me the other day saying he got the tail lights on and the plates on his Teardrop!! ! I guess we lit a fire haha

You can get "transport tags" if your trailer isn't ready. I forgot but I think they are like $5 each way. All you do is go down to the tag office and tell them that you need a Temporary Transport Tag so that you can move a homebuilt trailer. You have to tell them where you are going and the route you are taking. You have to get one tag to get there and another one to come back.

I brought my trailer to 2 gatherings before it was finished, Cedar Hill and Inks Lake. Both times I used transport tags.

Cedar Hill was a Monsoon, I didn't have the aluminum on the trailer. I had so many leaks that we didn't sleep in it the second night. Dave & Cindy went home to sleep the second night..... It was that bad! It makes for a good story though.
