To those of you building race trailers; I will have the track at Albion river to get in some racing time in.
I encourage everyone to build a racer and join in the fun!

Hey Lee, ya think maybe this thing has Snow Balled a little?

What the racing or the camp out

The camp out is going to be packed. I hate to tell anyone they can't come though.
As far as the racing trailers; When I had the idea I hoped everyone would join in. The more people envolved the better.

Hope I get time to make a trailer as well as put the finishing touches on the track.

the last one is quakes for those who have never felt on you usally don't but some will make you look for a doorway or go under a table. this piture shows quakes by boxies the bigger the box the stronger it is. if you see the bigger 3 boxes think twice but it is more dangerous in a city then in the country. You are more likly to get hurt by a Tornado then a earth quack. And the chance of feeling one during your stay is very very small (unless you are in Parkfeild, CA)

Hi, IRG Campers:

I think you'll all have a fine time at IRG and probably won't have to even worry about smoke. I think the big red fire symbol on some of the maps blocks out some of what you need to see clearly. Just to help give you piece-of-mind, here's a local news website. It has a US Forest website attached that shows where the fires are, without the sensationalized big, blocking red fire symbol.

http://www.redding.com/news/2008/jul/03 ... _headlines

When you open the website, if you click on the map, it brings it all up. You can see that the area where you are going camping is just fine....No fires going on really close to there.

The website has been displaying this map daily since the fires started. If the fires are still going on in two weeks, they'll probably still be linking to it.

Have Fun!

IS THERE STILL ROOM?

Postby joekosareff » Sun Jul 06, 2008 10:02 pm

As luck has it, we have July 20-22 open and want to attend the Mendocino Gathering. Is there room for us? Is it at the Albion River Campground? What do we need to do - like send someone $$$? Joe Kosareff

Hi Joe, The sites I have reserved are going to be full; But I'm sure room will be available. I don't turn anyone away. You might try the campground and see if you can reserve a site close to our group. Just in case. albionrivercampground.com
See you there.

Hi Lee,
We are not going to be able to make the Mendo gathering so there will be another spot available. We had not made any campground reservations. See you all at the IRG.

Lee,
I can't believe how quickly the time has passed & July 20th will soon be here.

Any news on the caravan to IRG and will there be any problem of where to stay on July 22nd - Tuesday night?? Or did I miss something?

Lee: We were so looking forward to the Albion experience BUT (we're now getting to expect the unexpected) last month the wife fell and broke her hip :( . Unfortunitly (sp?) this was two weeks before I went in for total knee replacement  . So, needless to say, no need to leave a candle in the window for us, but other opportunitis will be forthcoming. We truly appreciated the work you went thru to put this gathering together  . Thanx. Jim and Avisia

Lee,
I guess there will be a little more room at Albion, as we won't be able to make it. We will be at IRG, but I need the extra days before here. The Gap Fire down here threw my time schedule too far out of wack and there is some work that I just have to get done.
