We made a little bit of progress today, in spite of the rain.

We finished skinning the roof, and here is Chell hooking up the solar panel.

We also finished the antenna, wired in a side light, put poly on some interior pieces, zipped off the overhang on the roof skin, and started working on the ac drain. More photos here:

Solar panel ...NICE!!! How are you going to use it , with a 12v DD battery???

Haven't picked up the battery yet, but it'll probably be a group 27 battery, with the most amps I can find!

I worked mostly on the grrr... &*^%$ hatch today. Okay, it wasn't THAT bad, but it gave me some fits, especially getting the main frame started. From that point on, it got much easier. I was hoping to finish framing it and skin it today, but that PLAN did work out. (Refer to other thread about making plans.) Chell wanted to go shopping, actually had to go shopping if I am going to eat tomorrow! So I got the hatch framing about 75% done. Here's what that looks like.

After we got back from shopping it was dinner time, and then all I had time for was to hide the wires going to the side porch light...

We are getting closer. I can see myself camping already!!!

Mike , that sure is looking FINE !!! ...and Comfortable too !!! :thumbsup:
Have you considered a pass-through door to the Galley ...just for access to the coolers in inclement weather...(Read: trapped inside in a rainstorm and needing a Beer) ;)
We notice you have chosen the "stick method" of hatch support, as we have done also ... would it be possible to add hooks /fixtures to the stick to actually make it more useful than just hatch support ...(multitasking) Drink holder, paper towel dispenser,kitchen towel hook ..lantern ... would give a new status to the lowly "stick", and be even more useful... :thinking:

That lowly stick is very temporary. Once I order some gas struts the stick will go away.

As for a pass thru, I opted not to. Since I will probably have a smaller cooler with beer, which will be sitting inside on the counter in bad weather.

The next task, once I get the hatch trimmed up the way I want it, is to fill in all the holes, add CPES and get it ready to paint. But this weekend is shot, since it's my birthday, we've got company coming.

This TD has taken me longer than any other trailer, but I suspect that's cause I started so late last summer.
