This one's got the RR markings on it...can't recall which one right now but I did look it up one time.
I also have a red lens RR lantern but it's the taller one.

Rich...I have a New York Central Line red lantern...looks like the one you posted a pic of. Has a leaky base though. It was rusted up pretty well when I got it, good glass with an etched NYCL on it though. Now that I think of it....POR 15 tank sealer would take care of that! Doug

Mine are both in really nice shape considering they hung in the father in laws garage for who knows how many years. I rescued them after the mom in law passed.

The short one on the left is a Dressel from the U.R.R. (or from what I can gather) the Union RailRoad, the one on the right is a Dietz and is supposed to be from the same RR but I can't find any markings to confirm that, it's supposed to be a brakeman's lantern.

Well here's mine, I found this in an abandoned cabin up in the mountains near my home. It's in great condition suprisingly. All the stuff in there was covered in a million years of dust and cobwebs.
It says "ADLAKE" and "Reliable" on the lid
I found two Coleman lanterns there as well, one is nickle plated, the other green. The nickle plated one still had a good mantle on it. I took them home, rinsed out the tanks and filled them up with gas and they both lit up. Coleman stuff lasts forever. I use the nickle one every camp trip
