...as usual, my crew and I will feed everyone on Fri night and I was thinking, since the Bar-B-Que potluck was such a great success last year, we would do the same this year...since we fed nearly 250 folks last year, this seems about the easiest way to doit again this year...is that OK...whatcha think..........

mmmmhmmmm After all , it's the south.... Bar B Q is a staple !!!!

For those that aren't familiar.... MJ's crew are a beautiful bunch of cooks and do what they do best!!! The rest of us just bring the fixin's and the side dishes.

I hope Tony will do some famous bartending this time too !!!!

Please don't make any references to Bar-B-Q this far from lunch. Now I'll be in agony the next two hours!

HUH???
While the cajuns are mighty fine cajun cooks. As I remember it there were a few Texans there bringing real BBQ.
Oh it did smell great with the whole park smelling like a BBQ cookoff.
I'll be bringing my best effort, But please don't call it just a side dish.

My apologies but I honestly was thinking of Texas barbecue when I wrote that... and started to make a plea for that to-die-for Shrimp Etoufee.... I know MJ and his boys made some yummmmmmmy Etoufee !

For those of us who haven't been before, does everyone bring some bar b que or some bring the fixins, etc. I will bring what ever I am told, I think. As for friday night, what goes with cajun cookin? Hey, I don't want to miss anything and I want to "be proper" when it comes to what I bring. Also, how do we keep the Margarita's flowing? Hey, I want to be in the middle of everything. Oh yes, what color & kind of car do you want Grani to bring you for your birthday, MJ?

Of course Gary and I will be preparing breakfast on Saturday morning. We will try to be better prepared and have more to go around ... but any help (fruit/juices/etc) will again be welcome. But homemade cinnamon rolls and mountain man casseroles will be provided for all that want to partake :R

We cant wait!!!
Where ever we raise the hatch is home.

Bar-B-Que sounds good. We cajuns like good Texas Bar-B-Que. I don't
think my wife will let me eat beans along with it.

Since I unofficially won the brisket cook off last year.

Based on the fact that some one ate all my brisket. :Flippin Burger:

I'll just have to do it again this year. 8)
