Mini Trailer Gathering / Peach Day's / The Third Autumn Run!

Postby Yogi Bear » Wed Jun 04, 2008 8:02 pm

Hello All,

The Utah Salty Teardrops Group are having a Mini Trailer Gathering at Brigham City, Utah at the KOA Campground September 4, 5, 6, 2008.

Also, Brigham City, Utah is having there Peach Day’s event at this time. There are many fun things to do at the Peach Day’s event, in Brigham City, Utah.

For everyone coming to the Peach Day’s Rally / The Third Autumn Run! / MTG should visit Peach Day’s Schedule of events at http://www.bcareachamber.com/19.phtml for all activities in town.

One of Utah’s largest Car Shows is free to everyone at the park. There are booths, games, food and fun. Breakfast at the Firehouse on Saturday 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

The Utah Salty Teardrops Group has been invited to join the Peach Day’s Parade in town on September 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM with our Teardrop Trailers. There is a four-trailer limit for the parade. In addition, an application to be filled out by anyone that would like to show off there trailer, there is a $25.00 entry fee. Please contact Paul at [email protected] for special details if you would like to join in the parade fun.

The Mini Trailer Gathering is a bit different from my other planned camp outs or events. There is NOT an agenda to follow for a MTG. There will not be a group potluck dinner. At a M.T.G., there are no door prizes or welcome packets. . Mostly you will be on your own to camp and enjoy the area as you like. It is mostly about just camping and visiting with the members of our group.

We will have name tags and a sign in at my trailer.

At this MTG, we will only have one planed campfire on Saturday night at the KOA group area. So, bring your own hot dogs if you like. With so much going on at the Peach Day’s it is hard to work around all the happenings.

Everyone that comes to any Utah Salty Teardrops events will need to have a Registration Form signed and dated before August 23, 2008 for Peach Day‘s / The Third Autumn Run. / M.T.G. There is a “pdf” file with a Registration Form for you to print at The Utah Salty Teardrops Group page in “Files“ then send it to the mailing address on the form, if you would like. Or, I can send you a Registration Form in the US mail. Just email me with your Name and Mailing Address.
I am sure everyone will be happy that they came and enjoyed this MTG and The Third Autumn Run with us.

See you in Brigham City,
Paul

Should I make my reservations early?

Postby Yogi Bear » Mon Jun 16, 2008 6:59 pm

Hello All,

A few folks have been asking me if they need to make there camping reservation early for the Peach Days events.

Yes!

("Peach Days is an honored tradition that brings approximately 75,000 spectators a fun-filled weekend that the Top of Utah and Southern Idaho residents look forward to every year.")

When I talked to the Brigham City KOA. The manger said, the campground was already half full with regulars that come every year.

I don't want to rush anyone...

But, Peach Days is a BIG event in Northern Utah!

Just so you know "What's Up!" 8)
