Man I hope ya make it with the scotty!!! I've been wanting to see/study one of those for awhile. I have a trailer design in mind that needs to "borrow" some ideas from a rear door style.

I have the map updated. Sites 2,24,51 and 61 are reserved and I don't know who. If I missed you fess up so I can get you on the map.
Everybody else, There are 13 spots left including 2 long pull thru sites (4 and 66) that can double.

I got you on the map. I was wondering who was going to take the spot next to the gater den. :o

Just kidding  There are gaters there. We could hear one hissing right behind my campsite last year at night. I haven't seen one yet.

On another note I was sitting in my backyard on saturday and a fisherman caught a 3' gator about 50' from my dock. First time I have seen that since I lived here. I didn't know they were in there.

Put me down for campsite #oo8. My son and I will be following my friend Fred and the Tazman & Rayvillian down. My tear should be about 85% complete or more. Enough to camp in anyway(lol). Lokk forward to meeting all the folks Fred has told me about! :) Vern

Mike and Brenda asked the question I wasn't going to- what's that gator on the map for.... I'm a big wimp about things like that. Wish we had a campsite on the other side of the campground!!

One of my family of cousins who live in Tampa had a...don't know what it would be called. A little lake or... there was a body of water in their neighborhood that ran between the backyards.

They used to get alligators - from tiny ones to little dog lovers. Think 13' or so was the biggest.

Always seemed funny when they told about it.

My little Sami dog has a bad rear leg so I have a stroller (a dog one) for going on long walks. Was going to just keep him with me in it anyway.

Sami is not a beagle but you get the implications...

I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE LAUGHING AT US!!! If you camp where there is a new element like this you just have to learn about it so it remains nothing. But ignorance can get pretty painful. I'll just watch some more gator 'wrasselin' so I'm ready for the very unlikely.

Wonder what lowering the lake has done to the poor gators. Sent them packing or made them hungry? 8) One Lake Bistineau site reported the lake would be lowered on July 15 to help combat the Giant ummm whatever it is called. Plant life. Boat concession was closed till the lake would be determined safe for boating.

Is that an offering to the Swamp gods in an intruiging ethnic (tourist) ceremony? Or just diversion for a moment? Animals I know figure if you supply treats they are welcome to return for another.

Hey! Here's an idea! We rent a bunch of LITTLE baby gators for a day. Then we have MadJack's Birthday Bash and Swamp Race Extravaganza! Maybe baby chicks could be like the rabbit for the greyhounds?

hmmm That sounds like *work*. Never mind.

I need some more ice water!

Elizabeth . . . . :relaxing:

Way to go Carl Edwards #99! Great race!
