Update: The patient is doing good!

Postby mechmagcn » Tue Jul 22, 2008 4:27 pm

Hi all, just a little note to let everyone know that Donna is doing well. The radiation therapy started last week and the first chemo was today. She has come through with no problems so far.
The Dr. told us that the mixture of chemo drugs will definately cause her hair to fall out, so she has already found a wig to closely match her hair since it was cut short.
Only time will tell as to how well she reacts to the treatments.
We are still planning to be at LCGIII. It will take more than this to keep us away
Thanks all for the thoughts and prayers, Jeff & Donna

I am glad things are as well as they can be. You sound very positive and that's good for Donna.

I'll be thinking about y'all and looking forward to meeting both of you at LCGIII.

Thank you Heavenly Father for looking after your child Donna and giving patience yet strength to her doctors and nurses, thank You for giving good health and good spirits and taking the worriness away, for we know that we do not need to worry as You told us in the book of Matthew that you will always take care of us no matter what. Now we ask that You graciously take care of Donna and keep her reactions to the medications be as minimal as they can and that her attitude will stay positive no matter what. Give strength to Jeff to take care of her and to trust You.
I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen
