As a builder we find this forum and others like it fun and educational. Having built trailers for years we used this forum and others to determine what newbies to teardrop trailers are looking for and how the other builders have solve problems that we have faced. We think now after lurking for years we should stand up and return something to the community. To all forum members; please feel free to ask us any questions you may have about teardrop trailer design issues in general and Tadpole Trailers in specific and we will reply. Thank you all for being what you are and lets teardrop our way to eternity

Thanks for your welcome to the site. Yes we are builders and our website www.tadpoletrailers.com has all the information about our current models including a small travel album. We have been building trailers sporatically over the last ten years but mostly for our own use. The downside of this is I sold everything we built not intending to be in the trailers business and henceforth have no pictures. Last year I was looking for a way to get out of or to merge my current businesses of Commercial Millwork and Cabinetry and Prototype Design Development and we started producing teardrop trailers to be sold. Word of mouth and our constant camping all summer made this venture a success and what we learned about the trailer has allowed us to produce the current model containing all the features we wanted and to eliminate the short comings we discovered. I am proud of this Trailer and I am happy to offer it to the world

Very nice looking unit! Is the one pictured a prototype? It looks like the galley is not yet finished. Still, the attention to detail is undeniable!

The photos are of TaddyOne our personal trailer which unfortunately gets the abuse that no creature should endure That photo shows the aftermath of trying a complete slide out kitchen unit. Looked great in theory and worked great during demo's but in the real world ( a campground) the problem was things falling behind and jamning up the slides. I was forced to remove everything from the shelves, the shelves, the battery etc and reach in blindly looking for the obstruction. One day when it was about 140 degrees in the shade, the humidity was 100% and the mosquitos decided they liked the taste of me I remove the entire assembly in a very neanderthal manner and donated it to the park dumpster. This photo was a week later in a campsite that was my salvation for the month. We are now back to the original format and our marriage has been made stronger than ever.
