Hurricane Dolly Damage

Image

The CPES had just come in when the storm came through. My plans where to apply it to the sides but I hadn't had time. I covered and tarped it, but the rain still got in.

I'm going to put some glue in and clamp it, then apply the CPES..Do you think that will work?

You are making great progress! :applause:

Sorry to hear about the water damage! :( I will leave response about how to repair to the experts, because I aren't one.
I am just about as far along on my build as you are, but I've been working on it for 8 months! You guys are fast! That's good, if you have to replace that front section it should only take you a day!
God Bless

Hey, another question...?
I'm putting the CPES on the outside siding today, and since my new concern for water damage, should I coat both sides? :QM

I'm thinking if the CPES does its job on the outside, you won't need it on the inside. Before you do coat the inside, you might check with the rot doctor about volitile fumes.

Well the inside of the skin will be next to the 3/4 birch wall. So not worried about fumes, just water.

Got one door on today.
Also realized the handles we bought don't lock. Going to have to find some new ones.

Unfortunatly we are in a direct path to be hit by TS/H Eduardo.
:(
These storms really put a damper on TD building productivity.
A freak storm popped up yesterday with 54mph gusts and we lost our canopy--it wouldnt've held up through a hurricane anyway.
I went to the store this morning and bought another tarp, so she's all wrapped up, and were hoping for the best. :worship:

She's still missing a door on one side and the hatch isn't installed or sealed yet.

Thanks for checking up.
Eduoard, just turned out to be a big rainy bum, that hung around all day.
:rainy:

Hopefully the weekend will be nice, but we have to buy another canopy. $>

No canopy, and it's really really hot!

Installed the cabinets, and got the other door hung.
I started out with pine fronts but just couldn't make them look good, so I changed them to oak.
Starting to work on the outside door trim....AAgggghhhh thats hard! :hammerhead:
