We'll put you on the wading list.

(sorry )
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Our weekend of fun included flying a kite all weekend.
We really enjoyed it until dark when we could no longer see the kite. A little tequilla and a few minutes of talking helped us to decide that we needed to somehow light the kite where we could see where it was. The next day Razorback came back from Walmart with various lighting devices which we all begin devising a way to get them up to the kite. A parachute made from a bandana, a few swivels, and a couple of led lights later and we had light heading up to the kite. We'll that wasn't quite bright enough for us so we took a hat led light and quickly modified it for the assent to the kite. This was perfection. In less than 15 minutes the whole RV park was a buz with people coming out of their big RVs to see what they thought was a UFO. After talking to a very good humored deputy, Cindy assured him it was just a kite with flashing led lights. The deputy told us that they would just tell everyone that they were investigating.

Probably the best joke we've pulled off yet.

 :clapping hands:

Okay so I KNOW, this is a weee bit late, but I had to find out what they were talking about on the LCGIII thread. I have to say the LED's on the kite was a SUPERB idea and the fact that other campers thought there was a UFO is hilarious. Brilliant actually!

:applause: :applause: :applause:

Sorry I missed this awhile back..

Sorry Mary K I did not explain in the LCG III thread; but I thought you would enjoy the search to find out the story behind the UFO and kite incident. 8)
