Stock is what I am going for...there are a couple of things I found today that I need to ask a couple of my body guys what to do.

I also wish I could find a interior picture of a stock/original one.

I just took a break from ripping or trying to rip the seat a part...it looks like something may have been living in it at one time and I don't want to stick it in the garage until it is just a frame.

Don't destroy the seat covering it will make the upholstry shops life a lot easier if they have it for a pattern. If you are worried about critters stuff it in one of those plastic storage tub with some moth balls but save it !!!

Cool find Elmo...depending on how you plan on using it, a 235 swap might be a good idea. The splash system oiler won't work well at todays speeds. It tends to load up the valves with oil and starve the crank. The 235 can pass for original and gives you a much better engine. Just a thought. Doug

My uncle went with me to pick it up. After he retired from Briggs and Stratton he was bored and currently works at a upholstry shop part time for some thing to do. He told me the very exact thing, but I don't think it is the original as I am stripping it down. The brackets don't match up with the brackets in the car. It was just placed in the car and not bolted down. It has part of the floor panels attached to it and it isn't from this car!! So I maybe wasting my time here...it might just end up being dumpster food!

Depending on what it sounds like and if it needs anything. I may just run it with the 216 and then start looking for a 235 and swap it later on in life.

That is one pimped out Elmobile.
