I built some bracing for the front shelves to make them strong enough to hold up the tv I plan on installing at some later date.

Bottom of page 9, paragraph 'Bracing for TV'......

Came out real nice.... tomorrow I'll stain them, install them, and the front of the trailer will be complete....

For all practical purposes, the inside is done... I posted some pics, including a new type caulking gun I bought for applying adhesive, and the way I ran the coax for the through-wall connector.... bottom paragraph, page 9.

This afternoon, the mattress goes back in and back where it belongs. First time in no. 2....

I've figured out how I want to strap down the bigger items in the galley, and that is next.... another week or so and it should all be done. That's 2 weeks in real time, judging from past experience.

The battery is in place and operational. The battery, petcool and microwave have been strapped in place. first paragraph, page 10.

I now have to deal with the galley hatch gap, which is too wide and I don't know why. Once that is fixed, some touch up paint, a bit of work on the curtains.... and I am done.

Very nice. The shelf is lovely! :D I can't tell what you used to tie the pet cool down with. Are those appliance tie down straps or something else.

Get camping!

Miriam, they are tie-down ratchet straps... Got them at Lowes. Removed hooks and used eye-bolts through the floor for attachment points... You can see the eye-bolts in the battery pic.

Added paragraph at bottom of page 10 regarding hooking up petcool.. Now I have a place to sleep other than the couch... just in case.

No pic, but repainted outside, so it is now all white... pic when I roll it outside sometime.

this is just an fyi.. if anyone wants to use epoxy, but doesn't want to wait for it to cure overnight, hobby stores sell modeling epoxy that will harden in either 6 minutes or 30 minutes. That is what I used to do the petcool hoses.

I was able to shape the petcool adapters about 45 minutes after I epoxied them on...

It is costly, but I have it 'in stock' for my modeling work anyway, and the time savings is worth the money to me.

THis link is just to give you an idea of how it is packaged.

I really like using it because I get the strength of epoxy resin without the long wait time before I can work it.

I started a little project today to finish off the tear. The pictures at the top of page 11 are the start..... anyone care to guess what they are going to be?

The only clues will be the existing pix and the ones I add as time goes on.

I mounted the pieces on a piece of scrap ply to stain them. The are spaced up off the ply with washers.

4 have 5/16" holes drilled into the side. 4 have 23/64" holes drilled into the side. They are not drilled completely through.

The 9/64" holes drilled into the curved face are through holes.

Pictures in same paragraph at end.

Bruce, yes. Am mounting the spare right now, the mattress is back out on the ground so I can drill the carriage bolts through. The basic galley is done as far as we want it now, will determine where to go with it after we use it a couple of times.

K.C... I understand what you mean. It will all become clear in a day or two.... I have mounted all those semi-circular blocks..... and after the glue dries, the final step will be done... will post another pic or two later today after I'm finished working on it....

btw, had the first 'roll out' of the garage today... will post a couple of pics of that as well...
