Carol I wish you well. Take it easy. :) Peg

Son of a gun...I knew there was another Teardropper in Corpus other than TonyJ, but I couldn't remember who.... Sorry Peg.

I hate to hear you had some damage but I'm glad to hear you are okay. :phew:

I've ordered both Netflix and Blockbuster and have the laptop here with the wireless conection, so I will happily sit right here with just some mild walking to the mailbox :-)

One question I do have. I have heard that the uterus is an integral part of "core strength". Has anyone else heard that, and if so is there something I can do exercise-wise (later) to maintain that?

Carol, you take it easy okay?

careful all of you who are in the storm path...
Up here, I've had to turn off the computers and the TV for several hours at a time since we're having roving heavy duty thunderstorms every day--sideways rain, hail, the whole bit.

But two weeks ago, my docs changed my chemo cocktail, and I've been feeling much better about 5-6 days after infusion. And yesterday was a pretty good day, comparatively. So last night, after the 8 pm storm passed, I packed up Casey and M. and spent the night...
IN THE SUNSPOT!

The Sunspot is in the overflow parking lot over by the pool. We woke up to sunrise and the doves cooing, and I walked the dogs back to the condo to get cleaned up and give them breakfast. Not exactly camping...but hey, I'll take it. Maybe in a couple days, I can do it again. Can't really stay in the trailer during the day--but it was fun to spend another night in it (first one this year!)

I just can't believe how much rain the Sunspot has weathered, and it still hasn't got any evidence of leaks that I can find. Maybe I really *do* know how to caulk a seam!

Gaelen: Good to hear that you having more "Good" days than "Bad" ones. Any time spent in the Sunspot it time well spent.

Peggy is everything OK out there or is it the disaster that the News said it was?

We are expecting the Storm to hit us by Saturday of Sunday here in NM.
I hope everthing is well with you.

Mandy

Mandy, mostly damage south of Corpus. We didn't get the hurricane force wind here. Just tons of rain and wind in 40 and 50's maybe higher sometimes. May tent tarps were old and needed replaced anyway. Most damage I see here is pot holes in the roads. Now the blood bandit are coming out.
MaryK, It's nice to have another teardropper living in the same town. Tony's a cool guy. :) Peg

Gaelen dancing the happy dance for you.

Saturday night I was settling down in the Inkwell when I received a call from my mom, her computer was on the fritz. Basically her email wasn't working and she had been on the phone with tech support for a couple of hours. Now you and I know that this isn't a big deal but...Mom and Dad have been dealing with Dad's Kidney cancer surgery, the possibilty of cancer on his lung(thankfully it wasn't), skin cancer on Dad and my mom's pangreas is acting up. And with all that computer problems were just one more thing...so, I packed my suitcase and buzzed on down to Springhill, FL and arrived at 1:30 AM. This morning I fixed the email problem in five minutes.

BTW, I'm not a computer genuis especially not with PC's and windows I just know enough to keep myself from getting into worse trouble...most of the time.

I'm sitting in my parent's RV, I think four Inkwells could fit in here, and missing my little trailer and the peace that comes in camping alone for rest and relaxation. the upside, Mom & Dad have wireless internet. :D

Gas has gone down by .25 cents per galloon here. Oh and if you haven't seen it, Momma Mia is a fun fill, definitely more of a chick flick than a guy film. Mom and I went tonight and laughed out loud numberous times through out the film.

Hi Ladies! I'm back from the IRG and had a fantastic time. I celebrated a birthday while I was there and it was one of the best. I had breakfast cooked for me, basked in the sunshine by the river, and won the 5" DO with custom lid at the raffle!! :applause: :applause:

As I walked around and visited everyone I was amazed at how many single gals traveled to get there. I loved it!! Keep up the great work and get out there...like I told one gentleman I met in Oregon on my way out..."If I didn't go alone, I wouldn't go at all!" He responded, "Good for you."
