northern California fires

Kenny and I went over 299 to Old Station (east of Redding) last weekend. 299 runs next to the river. Some of the fires are starting back up. this was what we saw next to us on the way home. 3 of them came and got water one right after the other. We could almost reach out and touch them!

Very Sad News... I just heard that a copter picking up firefighters in the Shasta/Trinity fires crashed on takeoff.
