I'm hoping to use 18" struts. I have to lay it on on CAD before I get them. The hatch is pretty light... I'm thinking I can get by with 75# or 90# struts.

I have some 120's lbs, that were waaaay to heavy. Thought they might could work for you. I replace them with 90's.

Thanks,

Back to the stick. you could go out in the woods and cut a tree and leave the short branches on it to hang things on. Mark and Em have one that we used to prop up the center of a tarp to keep the fire dry and it's made it to at least 3 campouts. It's kinda become a tradition.

"and leave the short branches on it to hang things on.".... Back to the stick thing ...We're making one with a drinkholder(bicycle type)and a few hooks to hold a small towel, and a lantern...if we put a stop of some type, we could slip a roll of paper towels over the stick...Sticks do have their own look and never wear out...Wonder how many stick fans are out there??? 8)

I think I'll put the CPES on the Generic ET tomorrow morning. Then it'll finally be somewhat weathertight...

Then I'll start plugging holes and what not...

It's a little bit cooler up here, can you tell?

It's been a good day today...

I started off putting CPES on the trailer...

Then I did the epoxy putty...

I put a nice bead in the transition area of the roof...

Then the rains came...

But all in all, it was a good day...

I have a 2 gallon kit of CPES, I don't think I even used half of it.

Mike,
You beat me to a question... How many coats of CPES will be applied, and do you apply it just on the exterior areas?
Why just dance, when you can Salsa!

I just applied one coat.

I applied it mainly on exterior surfaces, but I made sure to get the end grain real good, especially on the window openings, and the roof vent opening.

We have found, the hard way , that when waterproofing, it's best to waterproof EVERYTHING!!! Inside and out ... Had to change a water stained Masonite ceiling panel (condensation from the metal part of the roof vent ...Grrrr!!!) Had we waterproofed it too , would have been no problem...

That's a good point. Too bad my roof is all closed up already!
