New guy from AZ

Hey, we have been tenting it for a couple of years now and I have decided to move up to a teardrop type of camper. I found this site about three months ago and have been studying everything written on here since then.

I picked up my trailer yesterday and plan on using the Benroy plans to build it.

My wife and I are in Prescott Valley AZ and it stays nice here for quite a while so I'm going to use the trailer for well,,,,,,, a trailer!!! hauling our tent and coolers to the campgrounds. I have been jamming everything into a mustang. Once the weather turns colder I'm going to start on the construction of the Benroy.

I've been building choppers for the last couple of years and I'm really looking forward to building a teardrop and developing some new skills.

Welcome aboard Levi....tears are a really fun project, there's no right or wrong on your design ideas, just have fun with your build. If you get a chance, check out a local gathering or any local builders/ owners that might give you a tour. You will probably learn a new group of skills, hiding mistakes being one of them! Doug

I am just down the road from you in Prescott Levi! I am also building a Benroy. I have the base done and I am just about ready to start building walls and cabinets. I'll PM you to see if we can chew the fat.
