You and Mona where a hoot! What a great sense of humor you guys have and are genuinely really nice people! Just wanted to let you know that "Young Sam", the 12 year old son of Tom from New York, let us know that your teardrop was his favorite. He liked the sleek look and comfortable, roomy inside. Out of all of those incredible teardrops, that is quite a compliment! I can only imagine what it will be like when you have the galley all completed. With your talents you may give Doug H. some serious competion!

WOW.................We are finally home....Our daughters and all of our dogs and our one cat were so glad to see us.

What a great trip we had. IRG was wonderful. Thanks Joanie and Dean and all the others that helped put on this event.

I enjoyed putting faces with avatars and meeting so many new friends.

John and Mona, I'll be sure to let you know when Charles finishes his 5th project ( the dual axel)

Wow...Linda and Charles back pretty quick! I hope you two warmed up once you got back! Great meeting you both and hope to see you again soon. I will have to be the one to travel the distance next time. Thanks again for making it out so dad could feel more "at home"

John and Mona....you seemed like professionals at a teardrop gathering. This was my first as well and hope to attend more if my "quack a shack" does not offend too many. It was great meeting you both and hope to see you again camping in the NW. The trailer looked great and I know you will enjoy it camping and rooting on the Wildcats!

Well after 5590.5 miles (roundtrip) & 388 gallons of gasoline we finally got home on Aug 3rd. Thanks to Joanie & Dean & everyone else for a great time. Tammy, Morgan & myself had great trip with no problems along the way. We even survived driving on Ca. 36 & the fires around
Yosemite.Thanks again to everyone for a great time.

Thanks for all the wonderful replies...keep in touch. I had a blast getting to know the Texans and others who hauled a long ways and were up early to the coffee klatch to visit. Thanks for the little light you gave me, Tammy, it was most useful, and you were a great help in the kitchen as well.

BTW to Brandie & Pam, did one of you leave a pair of size 9 Soho flip flops, black and silver stripes...??? if so I found them and Bill Nut are you missing a walking shoe or two??

Glad to see people are putting up pictures and the tears so we can track back and see who you are. Dean and I will have an official count to post after this weekend as we are going through the files together to see who was there, in what, and how many, etc. Going to a DOG this weekend on the Lost Coast.....ah summer, how sweet it is

Yes, As we got about 200 miles up the road Brandie told me she left the flip flops under the tear.....

She'd about worn them out so, give them a toss.... luckily she had more in the van.....

Reminds me when I was about her age leaving mine under the bed in a motel while traveling with my parents.... maybe it runs in the family!!!!

Spent the weekend at an area in the hills/Mattole River by the Lost Coast at a campground where our local FDOS held their campout. Lots of good food and folks we see about 3-4 x's a year. It would be a nice place for a gathering, especially for those only towing tiny teardrops.

On the weekend Dean and I sat down to share out common greetings of who we met, what their trailers looked like, etc. I probably got around more and met more of you, especially in the early AM, so I tried to help him place names and faces. It's great if you post your avatar with photo so Dean can see the face(s) again. By counting the registration, thinking back to campsites, I came up with.........

95 "Teardrops", and 205+ registered participants,,,,,, plus we had guests drop in for the day/meals, and we had some people in tents, campers, and other types if vehicles. So all in all, a GREAT turnout of people and teardrops. Probably off a bit on the count, to the low side if anything, but I did talk with hundreds of people everyday and I'm pretty much able to match your name to your group/site. Some of you were not "home" when I did my daily rounds, so I know you, but maybe just visited with the teardrop are some of ya still finding where I put those raffle tickets? Better make sure you check your pots/stove before you light 'em up next time!
