Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for a few weeks. I'm still in the dream stage, since I'm still working in Europe, but when I return to the States in a few years a teardrop is at the top of my list.javascript:emoticon('')

In the mean time, I'll be proud to be a member of such a positive, cooperative, and supportive group.javascript:emoticon('')

And if any of you are planning a trip to Paris, let me know and I can steer you to some good restaurants, and provide tips for things to see and do. And we could meet up for a beer or glass of champagne.javascript:emoticon('8)')

From one newbie to another Welcome. I dont know about Paris but Bills son lives in Ireland and that may be a trip in the future. I know about gettin bit w/ the Teardrop bug. I dreamed about our 'Sponge" (thats what we named her) for a few years before we built her. So good luck with your future build or purchase.

Phil,

Welcome to the forum. A few years? That'll give you time to learn a CAD program, and design a few versions of the teardrop you want to build.!

Just remember to share your designs with us! :D

Welcome phil, so you have plenty of time to think it through. ideas changed on paper are less expensive than during the build. (I ought to know) Where in the states are you from? Walt

Image to the other playground. A little trick on the emoticons is to just click on them. Easier that way ;)

Enjoy the planning and the more you save the more toys (tools) you can get ahead of time.

In answer to where we're from originally in the States, we're originally from SoCal, but we lived 7 years in Acton MA before we moved to Paris the end of '99. We've also lived in London, and in Belgium twice, once in Brussels, once in Vise near Maastricht in the Netherlands.
