Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take a butt kickin'.
42 Buick Woody Wagon....no doubt about it. It just screams vintage camping and family trips. Long Roofs 4-ever! As a side note...the local paper today had an article that mentioned that "40 Lamborghini's were stopped on HWY 50 for speeding" Maybe a caravan of them making the trip to Pebble Beach. Only 3 got ticketed for going 90 and crossing into the oncoming traffic in the undivided portion. Some of the locals called the law on them. The stopping officers mentioned that "they were all very polite" the bulk got off with a verbal warning. Seems like an unlikely number, but that's what the paper said. I only saw a couple on the way home. Doug
The reason the Olds looks like a vette (so I have recently learned) is that it was used as a reply to the Chevy Corvette. GM decided to scrap the project as it was threat to the Corvette fan base. It was desgned by Harley J. Earl (who also designed the corvette). When GM shut down the project, all but one was destroyed. It was apparently snuck out of the factory in pieces. The remaining Olds f88 was recently sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction for $3.24 million dollars.

I guess it depends on if you actually plan to drive it or not. IMO, the best thing about owning a classic car is driving it. So, I'd want a car that would float down the road for endless miles and hours at at time. That rules out sports cars.
For me, it's a toss up between the Buick wagon and the V16 Cadillac. The Caddy could probably tow about 10,000#, so I could build that heavyweight teardrop I've always wanted.
