QUESTION, RED-TRAILERS

Ask questions about Harbor Freight trailers, or questions about building your own...

I did a yellowpages.com search for utility trailer sales, several were listed and some even manufactured their own. I sent out several emails with my needs listed, the average price seems to be around $600. lonewolftrailerco.com is 1 to try

I think it must be because they are moving. When I ordered my 5x8' trailer from the PA office, I had no problems.

When I misplaced my instruction manual, I was able to go to their website and print another one off there. You can probably do the same so you won't have to wait for it to be sent The instruction manuals are only a few pages long. The manuals throw a few curve balls because of small errors; but, it's pretty easy to figure out.

Good Luck!

Well, surprise, suprise! Access has been removed to the instruction manuals website (http://www.redtrailers.com/manuals).
:o
They're still there, just forbidden to customers. I'm betting it's a ploy to get the extra bucks for putting these babies together.
Can't say I can blame them for trying. A buck is a buck and 150 bucks can buy a lot of groceries.
(P.S. They missed one link to access a manual but don't tell them. It's on #8516, near the bottom. Let's hope they don't see this and find out or it'll disappear too!)

Just in case that link does disappear.... I saved the PDF while I could get it. If anybody needs a copy, when it does ultimately get removed, let me know and I can share!!

BTW.... they haven't removed any of the links for the folding trailers though!

Not really!! I'm just a pack rat when it comes to saving files that may or may not come in handy some day. That's why I never have enough hard drive space and stacks of burnt CD's. It's too bad my filing system sucks (actually it's non-existent) which makes it hard to lay my hands on what I'm looking for sometimes.

Boy does that sound familiar!!!  I've also got stacks of HDD's with stuff on them, sometimes it's easier to get another one than pull all the collected stuff off of one!! 8)
