I just found this site while looking for ideas for a camping gear trailer and allot of what i found here looks right for what im wanting to build. I really like the way some of the stuff looks and im gona have a million questions about stuff. My goal is to make a trailer for hauling camping gear coolers ect not for sleeping in. My starting point is one of these trailers from northern tool http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/ ... _7262_7262 I have not goten it yet but plane to in a few weeks.
Harbor Freights version of that trailer is on sale this week for $179 (at the Memphis store, not sure if it's all stores), and with the 15% off coupon in another thread, makes it pretty reasonable.

I'm with Mike , build a size you can convert into a sleeper with a few more hours work. A number of people on the forum have bought commercial teardrops designed as cargo haulers and converted them into sleepers. Whatever type you decide to build you will find the craftsman on this forum will be able to answer your many questions and offer many options to arrive at your finished product.
Welcome to the forum and good luck with your build!
to the playground RBrown. You might look at Roly's "Stacker" which is made 40" wide and is big enough to sleep in......... Check out the Hall of fAme above.
