SOLD Well, it's finally time to let the Escape Hatch go SOLD

Well, it's finally time to let the Escape Hatch go.

It's in fair condition, with a little delamination in a couple places. I've circled the delam in red. I'll include some epoxy filler so you can fix it.

I'll let it go for $600. That's a steal. The hardware is worth much more than that.

That price even includes:

the air conditioner
the cushions
the curtains
the ac electrical system
the Northern Breeze roof vent
and much much more...

Is that a typo? You can't be selling it for $600!!! What a steal. Too bad I'm in Arizona. :(

Nope, it's not a typo. It's priced to move!!!

With the sun going down, I went out and snapped another picture of the interior...

Mike,
A month ago I would have bought it just for the frame and hardware. Too late now. Someone will grab it. I was through Orion Saturday, couldn't remember your street. Looked it up this morning and will do a drive by one of these days.

I need a new Avatar. I'd put my dog up there but she doesn't look much like me. She's the skinny one.

It doesn't leak. Of course, if it rains sideways, the rain will come in the little openings near the hinge.

Everything works... and yes, it fits in a normal garage in the down position.

Here's a photo of it in the down position when I was building it. When I get home I'll take a current photo for you.

So Close But So Far

Postby jml79 » Mon Aug 25, 2008 11:55 pm

I live only 345 Miles away but I am worried about the whole cross border thing. That and at least 200 in import fees and then tax and an inspection. So close yet so far away.

For 4

Postby agpage » Tue Aug 26, 2008 5:57 pm

Mike,

1. What does she weigh?

2. How long is the shelf that holds the guard dog? (Shamefully I am thinking of bunks for REALLY small kids.)

Andy,

As for those shelves, they are roughly 36" by 18" deep.

And the trailer weighs 800 pounds.

Scott,

She is still for sale, but there is someone in the queue in front of you that might take it...
