I bought some 3M Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive to use to glue my insulation
where they need gluing. I haven't done a test yet as I'm not far enough
along on my tear but it reads as though it should work for that purpose.

Yep, you are correct oh wise one. I went to Lowes today to buy some foam panels and there was POS next to the panels of foam adhesive. I don't remember the name but it was there. Personally I just wedge the panels between the frame and skins, no adhesive needed.
