Canoe on top?

Everything goes on top of my tow vehicle.....

I guess it all depends on how your trailer is set up. Do you have a hatch that opens up or swings out? How long of a canoe do you want to tow? My canoe is 16' so I would have 4' of overhang front and rear which could cause trouble with the tow vehicle. How heavy is your canoe? How strong of walls or roof does your TD have?
