Hi I worked on my hatch this weekend and thought it came out pretty good. I used a garage door trac because I used the curve for my corners and thought it would come in handy. With the curve already made all I did was screw the spars in and screw the inside covering.
Next I will tackle the hinge.

I never would have thought to use the garage door track for the hatch. I find it refreshing to see new ideas as well as new materials used. Keep it up Gerry.

Has anyone tried extending the tracks into the cabin and having hatch that opened like garage door? I may have to try that on trailer number nine. (I have about 8 trailers planned and none built. Anyone ekse have that problem?)
