plywood questions

I have been searching the forum and have come up with some pretty good info about plywood. I finally found a local lumber yard that has some 1/2" plywood for my flooring. Question on that. They have some really good stuff...like the AC grade that is smooth one side thats 26.95 for a 4x8 sheet. They also have some CDX grade thats 16.95 for the same size sheet. Does it matter which I use for the floor? The AC is fir. They also have some BC that is pine for 23.95. Do these prices seem fair?

Are most people using luan for skinning? The only thing he had in 1/8" was harvest luan..is this something I should be looking at for skinning?

Most plywoods use the same type glue no matter if they call it interior or exterior, unless it is specificly graded as marine. AC is is the highest grade "construction" type plywood, it is smooth on both sides, has few voids if any and has plugs. then comes CCX which is smooth on one side and has plugs, when CCX is used on a house it is used where it may be seen from one side for instance under the eaves of houses. CDX is rough on both side and is used for jobs like roof sheeting or sheer panels were it will be covered up and wont be seen, it is usualy five ply and is really ugly.
You could use Shop grade plywood, it is usualy a sheet of AC that was damaged in production or shipping, shop grade will usualy be 75% usable meaning it will have damage to one edge but the rest of the sheet is in good condition, shop grade is about 20% cheaper than it would be if it wasnt damaged.
I would use either AC, CCX or Shop for your floor if you want a decent surface, they all use the same water resistant glue and will last a very long time if they are sealed. I used 3/4 AC for my floor.
For my walls I used 1/2 AC and for the exterior roof I used 1/4 " luan. On the interior I used 3X7' Luan door skins on the ceiling and walls, they worked excellent and have a nice grain. I paid $12 a sheet for them. After doing the interior I wish I would have used the door skins for the exterior roof as well because it bent so well without any force and it is plenty strong and wouldnt have cost any more than the 1/4" Luan I used.
