My girl and I have started building our own version of a teardrop recently. I confess to lurking in the shadows for a long, long time. We finally decided to take the plunge and make use of available resources and see what happens. Thanks for all the info.

Thanks for the welcome. I am off to work on the tear this morning, yesterday I rough cut the window openings. It actually fit . . . . . so far.

Hopefully I can show some progress by the end of the day.

But you've only been a member since Sept 5th. :? :? :?

So you're saying you've been lurking without the benefit of most of the pictures the rest of us get to see?

Welcome to the forum...

Looks like you're making good progress. I love the size of your shop! Sure beats my 1-car garage.

I wish. That would be Monday next. I got an extension. Bending the interior plywood has become a difficult task. But I am "pressing on" with lots of clamps and jacks. More progress by the weekend I hope.

Thanks for the greetings everyone.

camera is broken

Postby blue_pelican51 » Thu Oct 02, 2008 8:33 am

Yes the camera is broken, but the tear is fine. In fact it is coming along rather well. Had a problem with a weak bow in the roof, but that is fixed and the hatch is done and doors mounted and the paint is on. More pics when the camera is fixed.
