Hi Kipper,

Welcome to the forum...

Good luck on your build, and remember we need to see pics. The first pic we should see, of course, is a broken down VW!

Mike...
The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...

I had one too years ago. Bought it with less that 200 miles on it from a friend and it still left me on the side of the road several times. ( I did kinda abuse the poor little thing though.

You'll find a wealth of opinion, knowledge and motivation on the forum. If you have a problem or solution please post and share with the rest of the forum members. An don't forget to document your build as you will want a photo journal of your build. Pictures also help when you need opinions or help and need to post a question.

Welcome to the forum!! Hope your build goes good and you are camping in the near future.

Welcome, Kipper. Good for you, building a teardrop in Jolly ol' England. There are a number of TD entusiast in the UK, and you will probably be hearing from a number of them. Good luck on your build, take plenty of pics, post 'em, get together with other TDers there on the island and then ship her on over the pond and join us at some of our Gatherings here in the States. Remember, ask questions, and send lots of money.......... Naw, just kidding about that last one.
