Hi! I'm just getting started on my 1st TD!

This is the place where you can introduce yourself, and include a photo if so desired.

Anyway, it is nice to see such an active and informative forum! I belong to another excellent forum dedicated to diesel VWs, so I know the value of this kind of resource. You can probably guess what I'll be towing the teardrop with!

I'm sure I'll be hounding you all for ideas in the near future. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures, too!

Hi Jesse,

Great to see another TDI clubber !

Glad to see you made it to this board :D :D

Hopefully when you get it built, you can make one of our gatherings in VA. We are not far away...

My fiancee took a few pictures of my drawing out the profile yesterday. Nothing too exciting yet. I still need to get the axle attached to the trailer in its new location and finish up the paint on that so it doesn't look "Harbor Freight" red.

I'd love to attend... and see all the other teardrops! I've never seen a teardrop in person besides a T@B. The one we're building will be the first one my fiancee has ever seen in person!

Hi Jesse,

Thought you might enjoy a picture of our wedding reception on our desert teardrop honeymoon. Our good friends Larry and Diane Sorenson along with Matt and Colleen Wilson brought wine and Hostess cupcakes. The location is in the Anza Borrego Desert 8 miles from Mexico.

Bob, that's a beautiful part of the country. I used to visit my grandparents in Mesa, AZ every summer (HOT!), but I haven't been out to the south west since I was about 10 or 11 years old.

Hi Jesse,

We will be having a gathering in October here in VA. Not big, but a start for a new chapter. Looks like 3-4 trailers at this point. Info is here:
http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=25525

Y'all could see a few in person if you like.
