1/8" Plywood Source

Postby NewFour » Tue Sep 16, 2008 7:12 pm

I am starting to get a good idea on how I want to build my Generic Benroy and have been looking around for material sources. Am waiting to see what new product the Rot Doctor will have to replace Uniflex etc. Can anyone help me with a source for 1/8" Birch plywood in the ALBANY, NY area? Have stuck out at couple of yards that I thought would carry it. Any info would be appreciated.

look for a supplier for boat building of a lumber yard that caters to woodworkers. they are the ones that would carry the 1/8 " stuff.

I used a woodworking supplier for all my 1/8" stuff, both 5x5 Baltic and 4x8 American birch.

I also was able to get the 4x10 Red Oak ply I used for the sides at the same place.
