Admittedly, the bike was designed by a fairly short person so the roof was too low, but even so I don't think they're a brilliant idea - they're heavy, the pillars get in your line of sight and once moving they're no drier than a good screen and to narrow to help with the sun, I would have thought (not a practical problem in Britain!).
