Hello there from Greece,

Postby Pavlox » Mon Sep 22, 2008 4:56 pm

It has been a week or so that i found and completely dive in to your excelent and friendly forum.

My name is Pavlos = Paul, im 42, i live in Athens, Greece and after sooo many years of tent campin, offroading and outdoor weekends i decided that i wanted something more "stedier" and easier to sleep into...so i started to serch the web, i found teardrops... and here YOU are !!!

i plan to build something not so roundy, since i in not so good in woodwork, i prefer the style of Weekender in a lifted trailer, i plan to use it mostly off road behind my 3,5' Jeep Cherokee.

Im still at the planning and searching for the suitable trailer...i will update for any developments until then...im here to read and learn.

Nice to found you guys !

You should be able to find a lot of information on building an off road tear. If you haven't found them already there are a number of off road tears that have been documented in their personal albums and in the Hall of Fame located above. Enjoy your build and note that posting pictures with your post will usually yield more appropriate feedback to your questions.

Welcome, Pavlox.

Am looking forward to the obligatory Teardrop at the Parthenon photo!

(I spent 6 sensational weeks in Greece -- Kifissia, Paros, Ios, Naxos, Santorini. Love your country!)

 :applause:

Image to the playground Pavlos/Paul from Greece. What a wonderful place to live.

Remember to dig out the camera and take pictures of everything. If something challenges you it will be easier to explain and the bubble oil won't tip. Image

Well some of us are a bit tipsy all the time but we love the pictures. That means pictures of anything.

Hi Pavlos,

Welcome to the forum!

You sure live in a beautiful country! I have only seen parts of Athens, but want to return to see the islands. I understand it is quite something to see.

The only thing I find problematic is the alphabet. Man, but it sure is difficult to read your street signs! :? :? It's all Greek to me!

Hi Richard,

I couldn't resist. But seriously, have you ever tried to read those signs?

In other places in the world, you can at least follow a map, but with that Greek alphabet? Initially I thought it would not be a problem, but I soon realised that travelling in Greece without a guide is simply looking for trouble. You'll never get to your destination!
