Pavlo, welcome to the board. You ought to hop into your Jeep and take a trip up to a fellow teardrop builder up in Finland. His name is Heikki and he would be happy to share his teardrop knowledge (and Sauna) with you. Good luck on your build, take pics and have fun.

Howdy Pavlox,
Welcome to the forum! My wife, Olga, is 100% Greek and visits relatives in Athens every now and then. Maybe someday I'll go with her and we can borrow your trailer and go camping! Oh... I guess we'll have to borrow your Jeep too! Let us know when you're finished with your build so we can make plans :D

In the meantime, good luck with your search for the perfect trailer. I'm sure you will get all kinds of helpful hints here on this T&TTT forum. Ron & Olga

Nice. I'm a Jeep owner and trying to make a TTT along these lines. I thought about making it camo or the same green as my jeep. Too many choices...

Welcome Pavlox - it's good to see another corner of Europe represented here. Like Classic Finn, I'm another ex-visitor to Piraeus.

Hello again,

Well.. Mike, i guess i will make it almost as high as my 3,5' Cherokee XJ, in the photoshoped pic it looks veeery high..

Good news now ! i ordered my trailer, it will be 2,5M X 1,40M which is a very good size i guess, since my XJ is almost 1.75m wide.

It will be made from Hot-dip galvanized steel (like the ones they use for boats) , and the axle will be placed over an extension in order to gain height. i asked them for no wheels but the hubs will be ok for a 15 inch wheel.

Tehy are a major company in Greece for such products here is a couple example pics from their job...

Ohhh btw, the cost for mine will be less than 400 Euros....(540 USD)

Goodday and Welcome aboard.
We used to have a greek resturant in downtown Murray. Jimmy the Greek ran it. Wow some good food there. It is gone now something about urban renewal. Do you happen to have a recipe for marinated pork. We use to go every week and have marinated port and eggs. Dang I sure miss it. Jim G :(
