Hi Charles, welcome to the forum. I am in Louisiana, and i'm attempting to build one now. I've gotten side tracked the last few months, but hope to get back on it real soon. What part of the state do you live in? Hopefuly we can get a few cajuns going on this board lol.............NUB........WHOAAAAAA!!!!! after i responded to your post, i checked your profile lol. looks like most of us are from the SouthWest Corner of La. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in getting together at Sam Houston Jones State Park in Lake Charles. They are teardrop friendly and allow teardrops on tent sites. They don't relegate you to the RV section... Which I HATE!

I live in Shreveport and love the city of Lake Charles. If yoy get a tear drop campout going, let me know. Dulcimer man
