I feel your pain. Re-building the curbside door for the third time!!!

I difinitely would redesign the shape of the door and eliminate the 6" radius in the Cubby plans.

Installed the 1" angle on the hatch last week end and it bent surprisingly
well. Closer to finishing the Father/Daughter teardrop-

Oy vey.

Can't wait to print this thread and stick it in a special "doors" envelope.

I'm hoping/thinking that my radius isn't as difficult. Also, since I'm doing a Woody, that it will be more forgiving. Finally, I plan on "resquaring" my door openings, meaning attaching strips of hardwood to the sides and bottom, less hard and felxible wood for the top radius, and again assuring I have good squares before cutting the doors to final mounted size.

But the great advice you gave is not to assume that the skin is okay yet. Work it little by little in steps.
