Spamboree 9! We made it!

Postby Damian Rutherford » Mon Sep 29, 2008 2:21 pm

Well, another Spamboree is behind us. Seems like it always takes so long to get there, but is over far too fast. Thanks to everyone for putting up with us. With the new kampground and all, I wasn't sure we could pull it off, but hopefully we did OK. The people at woodsvalley were great, and they told me that we were the best group they have had there in quite some time (a big thanks to all of you for that!) They say we are welcome back any time, and that's just where we will be for the tenth and final Teardrop Spamboree!! I'll get the info on the website as soon as its all finalized. As usual I didn't get to take any pictures, so if you would like to share yours please go to our website and post them on the photo page. A link has been added to do that. Thanks to all the Spam cooks, the work is really appreciated. :Flippin Burger: And thanks to those who decorated their campsites and themselves, it is greatly noticed and loved!!!:pinktear: To all of you, a giant Thank You!!! We could not do it without you! The memories my family have of your kindness and support will last long after the Spamboree is but a memory! Thank you all !!! :applause: A special thanks to my wife Sandra for putting up with me all this time. She is the backbone of it all and I would be crazy without her
PS We will be making a DVD with pictures of Spamborees gone by for next year. If you have any pictures of any past Spamborees, please post them on the photo page or email them to me so I can include them. Thanks. Aloha! :beautiful:

Damian:

You done well, it was a fine even thanks to you and all you helpers. At first I thought it would not be cozy as Guajolme but it was just fine. We had all sort of cozy nooks with trailers and people visiting. It was great weekend and the sounds of people having fun went on well after I went to bed on Sat night.

Slainte, let's do it one more time.
