Awning for Sale 9'x8'

Postby Kristi Foster » Fri Sep 26, 2008 2:40 pm

Here is a Pacific Blue and Natural vintage look awning for your travel trailer or canned ham camper. This awning measures approximately 9 feet rail length by 8 feet. It is made out of 100% acrylic 9.25-ounce marine grade Sunbrella color # (4805). The colors are just as vivid underneath as they are on top. The awning is trimmed with custom made Sunbrella binding and facings making the entire awning UV, fade, rot, rain, tear, and mildew resistant. There are facings surrounding all of the edges giving the awning a sturdy shape and providing reinforcement for the grommets. The pull cord is 5/16 inch marine grade weatherproof cord. Nylon #69 thread, intended for outdoor use, was used for stitching. Three heavy-duty grommets were placed in the end corners and the center, for the poles. The poles are not included but are readily available at most sporting goods stores. This awning was made using old-time craftsmanship and construction yet today’s technologically advanced materials. The design is a replica of an authentic vintage awning I own. So if you are trying to give your camper that true vintage look, look no further.ImageImage
ImageThe price is $250.00 including shipping in the continental USA.

Kristi
Nice work. Is it designed to be slid into an awning rail on the camper?
Thanks in advance.

Awning Design

Yes, it has a 5/16" pull cord that slides into the traditional vintage 3/8" channel of an awning rail. Thanks for looking. KF

I like the idea of installing a rail to the top of the trailer, and then feeding in an awning which would slope upwards so you could stand under it.
Anyone have something like this?
Thanks

This is Marti, the other gal that makes awnings, you might take a look at one that I have listed on ebay, it is available in eight different fabrics and can be used in may different ways, and I am always open to make one just as you need. Thanks Marti

Xrover...Marti made my awning and I used a more vintage twist stud to attach to either side, rather than a channel, but could be done either way. I also had some extra corner pockets installed so that I could install a couple of shock corded tent poles to punch up the roof on it for water run off and additional height. The outside legs also are adjustable for more height if you want it. I'm 6'2" and can stand under this one. She's got top a top notch product. Doug
