GAS...in your area again!!!

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby signs » Fri Oct 03, 2008 8:07 am

I bought gas in Oklahoma City yesterday for $2.99 a gallon.

Almost ran of the road when I saw the sign, had over a half tank, but for that price it was worth the extra stop.

Why hasn't anyone found a dead bigfoot? When was the last time you found a dead deer, bear, coyote, fox, squirrel, etc. that died in the woods.........Hmmm.

Lower prices in Redwood Country

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Sat Oct 04, 2008 2:11 am

Well.....the prices having been going down in our area. I paid $4.59 for Supreme yesterday and regular has come down to about $4.39...finally!! I see my area still leads the country in places where we have some expensive gasoline. Darn it, but having a car is such a luxury, I pay the price, but I'll sure start looking for ways to cut back on my driving.

$3.67 for Regular in Saint Augustine today. Somebody needs to tell them oil is down to $90 a barrel, about where it was a year ago.

I saw $3.06 here in Orlando yesterday. Cheapest in a long while. There were cars waiting to fill on each side of the tanks stacked up 5 deep.

Price gouging again. OUrs is $2.79. You still have higher taxes, I think.

We win, again!

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Wed Oct 08, 2008 11:36 am

I borrowed my Dad's truck for a few days while my car was being repaired. I am happy to say I was able to get a bargain of a price at $3.99 a gallon for regular yesterday, $4.09 / $4.19 for other grades.

:o What, that's not a low price you are saying to yourself?? I haven't seen regular below $4 for ages now, so it looked pretty good to me.
