Update on the pictures in my album. The enthusiasm of the students has allowed the build to continue in the school shop. It is almost done, can't wait to try it out.

I have two interested students. Looking like a 4X8 build. Already have an axle and possibly wheels and tires.

Maiden Voyage

Postby blue_pelican51 » Mon Oct 06, 2008 8:22 am

We took our little tear on a trip to the mountains. The galley isn't done, there are no cupboards inside and the wiring isn't finished, but we were with friends and the tear was great. Got back with a loose fender and the doors leaked a bit (seals not in yet) but it followed faithfully and we had a blast. I think I have pics and will download tonight.

It's looking great! I built (turned) a table lamp and made a chessboard in 7th grade. Wish I had had a teacher with a plan!
God Bless

:applause: :applause:  :woohoo: :beautiful: Wow what a project for the students to learn a wide range of skills on a real life project. Perhaps they too will make one of their own.

Good job teach. ;)
