Well we just got home from helping my father with some winterizing on his house past few days so not a whole lot of progress on our tear however I have managed to get vinyl installed on the towbox lid. Now to get the trim onto it so I think it will look nice n perdy. :lol:

The sides I have the same diamond plating equivalent.

Im hoping.. Gluing has to be done inside now as its too cold for the glue to work proper. I used a glue by 3m named ..Scotch Weld 74 especially used for vinyl and foam. It only takes a few minutes to totally stick. Of course in proper temps

hmm what is the drying time in optimal temps if it is short enough you could hit it with a hairdryer.

Give or take 10 minutes max and its on to stay.

Thats why its important to get any air bubbles out before it sets.

Got more done today since the sun was out even though it was sort of cold out.

Got the trim started now. looking more pleasing to the eye piece by piece.

Hope tomorrow I,ll get the rest of the vinyl pulled tight and glued with all the trim installed.

Im having a real bad time cutting out the front lower plating on our tear. Any ideas or help on this? I may have to loosen the bolts that are holding the towbar then I can lower it completely to get the plating under the cross beam that is on the tow bar itself. :thinking:

I,ll get some photos for you on it.
